Slye Trend There's a fast growing trend in shopping. "Lifestyle Centers" are the new developmental trend, while malls have plunged in popularity faster than Britney Spears. In the last several years, only three major malls, but 178 Lifestyle Centers have been built across the United States. Rather than an all out buying bonanza, Lifestyle Centers balance smaller upscale stores and grocers with courtyards, landscaping and areas to socialize such as the specialty coffee house, bakery, or children's play area. The experience is one of style, entertainment, convenience, and community.
