Kristin Slye - Owner & Creative Ace
Slye Marketing was born January 2003 when Kristin White-Slye broke
a hole in the corporate fence preceded by 12 successful years of creating
and executing marketing programs. Her first job out of San Jose State
advertising school was in creative services at the ad agency BBDO. From
there she skipped into the niche of hospitality marketing at Classic
Custom Vacations (expedia.com), Runaway Tours, Brendan Tours, and Hotel
Triton (Kimpton Hotels). At Hotel Triton, she was noted for her ability
to turn social trends into profit generating programs such as the highly
popular, “So Hip It Hurts,” tattoo and piercing package
featured in GQ, and the, “Room With a Groove,”
package featured in the Wall Street Journal. On the encouragement
of her mentor at Hotel Triton, she started Slye Marketing.
Slye Marketing clients have included Kimpton Hotels and Restaurants,
Dress for Success, Levi Strauss & Co, Personality Hotels, Andrew
Freeman & Co, hotel renew, and AQUA Development. Slye Marketing
has helped create brands and unique identities for over 46 hotels. Kristin
brings her own special brand of high energy, extreme creativity, and
professionalism to every new challenge. She's been an Instructor at
the Hospitality Institute of San Francisco.
